Non-Profit SCM Provider- AidMatrix Foundation
In my preliminary research for my project I was particularly interested in how Habitat for Humanity International managed its supply chain network. As I was sending e-mail to their PR offices I came a cross a non-profit supply chain management provider called Aidmatrix Foundation. Their network extends to NGO's, governments and private business across the globe. The organization was founded by a group of technology consultants, including some who had experience in military logistics, were passionate about improving the delivery of aid to relief organizations. This is an award winning organizations with partners including, Accenture and UPS. Please visit http://www.aidmatrix.org/technology/scm.htm learn more about the work their SCM modules and the innovative technologies being used in humanitarian relief projects.
